B.T.K., the true story of the notorious and deranged killer Dennis L. Rader, is available to own on UK DVD from 8th September 2008.

Starring Kane Hodder, the film is based on actual events about an outwardly ordinary family man, who's seemingly normal life conceals his unquenchable thirst for blood, which drives him to commit some of the most unimaginable murders over a span of 30 years.

This terrifying case has been documented and aired on the History Channel attracting thousands of curious viewers. The intricate case details are also revealed by retired FBI agent John Douglas, who worked on this bizarre and gruesome case, within his publication of ‘Inside the Mind of B.T.K’.

HELLBOY 2 TRAILER.

Ron Perlman returns as the titular hero in "Hellboy 2 : The Golden Army", which comes to UK cinemas on August 20th.

Lockheart Filmes Ltda. presents the first full trailer of the independent Brazilian horror-fantasy BEYOND THE GRAVE (aka PORTO DOS MORTOS). The preview of the feature film can be viewed at the official website www.beyondthegravemovie.com.

Written and directed by Davi de Oliveira Pinheiro (who's also producing with Isidoro B. Guggiana), BEYOND THE GRAVE follows the unstoppable hunt of the vengeful cop Lockheart (Rafael Tombini) for Adam, a supernatural serial killer. The film is currently in post-production and looking for international distribution.

 

ASYLUM OF HORRORS

Asylum press has announced the release of a trailer for their new ongoing comic book anthology "Asylum of Horrors".

July 24th, 2008 (Los Angeles)  Asylum Press has released a trailer for its latest horror anthology The Asylum Of Horrors on YOU TUBE as well as its website.  The Asylum of Horrors is sixteen stories, 96 pages, and one low price of $4.95 allow every reader to get a serious value for their comic book dollar.

The premise of the book is that a mad psychiatrist/doctor is running an asylum that has psychotics and kilers as inmates.  This doctor uses experimental treatments and hallucinatory drugs on them. Then he connects their brains to his and watches these inmates induced nightmares.  This is the genesis of the stories inside The Asylum of Horrors.  Each issue will have a beginning and end bumper tale to tie the issue together.

DIE-NER (Get it?)

Producer Seth Martin recently got in touch to tell us about his new indie film "Die-ner". Described as a "horror-comedy of errors", Die-ner tells the tale of  a hapless serial killer who runs into a slight problem when he finds his victims refuse to stay dead, and ends up sheltering in a remote diner with a handful of prospective victims.

DONKEY PUNCH - RECOMMENDED BY THE "DAILY MAIL".

Brit Horror-thriller "Donkey Punch" has been causing a bit of a stir with the critics it seems, with Amanda Platell in the "Daily Mail" going so far as to say it's "The Vilest film ever seen" (I think that means she needs to get out more).

Seems they don't like the films lurid mix of teenage sex, drugs and alcohol and are somewhat shocked by the director's claim that this behaviour is just an "everyday thing" with teens these days.

LOST BOYS 2 TRAILER ONLINE

The trailer to "The Tribe", the long awaited sequel to the cult 80's film "The Lost Boys" has gone online. The film sees the return of Corey Feldman, as he attempts to help a young Brother and Sister battle more vampires in the shady surf city of Luna Bay, California. Corey Haim and Jason Newlander also make appearances, along with horror veteran Tom Savini.
