Some people might disagree, but to me this is the scariest horror film ever made, I don't scare easy but this gem from Asia had me jumping up and down in my seat. By far the best horror film I've seen in 2003, although the film was not originally released in 2003 in Asia, but here in the U.S. it had a limited theatrical release and is now available on DVD.

2

Here's a little film that deserved more than it got, with all the films being released worldwide and not being so great, May was blocked from receiving mass theatrical distribution and only got a limited release. But this film is by far one of the best films of the year and I expect it to be on just about every other horror fans top ten list of 2003.

3 House of 1000 Corpses

Rob Zombie's Film that we were all dying to see. I'll have to admit at first I did not care for the film, then I saw it a few more times, then I bought the DVD, and then it just grew on me to the point where I can recite the whole film line for line. I love this film, and that's why it's here at the #3 spot.

4 28 Days Later

Billed as being the scariest film in ten years, 28 Days Later swept though the box office and was proclaimed by many as the best zombie film ever made, however I disagree with that, but it's still a great film and one I really enjoyed.

5 Jeepers Creepers 2

Yeah the return of the good old Creeper, Here's a film that many fans either liked or hated it. I'm one of the fans that loved it, mainly because as a Hitchcock fan, I saw the relation to Lifeboat.

6 Identity

Yeah this film was odd and some people thought it was hard to follow, but by far Identity was the best thriller of 2003.

7

Now you might be wondering why a sequel to Mimic made my list, some people really disliked this film while others such as myself praised it. The reason why... Go rent Alfred Hitchcock's Rear Window (My Favorite Film of all time) then watch Mimic 3, and you'll understand why I liked it so much.

8

I really started to get into Asian Horror this year, and Another Heaven is one of those films that was released on the Fangoria Presents label that I really enjoyed. The film was originally made and released in 2000, but made it's way over here in the U.S. in 2003.

9

Two films this year became guilty pleasure of mine, ahhh there no budget like low budget. And here's one low budget horror film I really enjoyed this year.

10

Darkwalker's that second low budget film that was my other guilty pleasure this year, not only was the film fun to watch it had great looking girls in it.
