Gaslit London during the days of Jack the Ripper; a young girl named
Anna sees her father kill her mother. Her father turns out to be the
Ripper. Years later, Anna is now a young woman who works for a phony
medium named Mrs. Golding. She does the "spirit voices" during the
seances performed by medium. One day, a psychiatrist named Dr. Pritchard
and Dysart, who is a member of Parliament, attend a session. Dysart
arranges to have Anna perform "other services" later on. However, Dr.
Pritchard sees Dysart fleeing Golding's establishment and enters to
find Golding impaled on a door and Anna in a state of shock.
Dr. Pritchard, who studies Freud, decides to take Anna into his household
and help her. But soon, the members of his household are being murdered
one by one, and even a street walker is killed. One victim has her eye
gouged, and it looks like Anna is behind all the murders. This all leads
to an exciting conclusion. To find out how it all turns out, you need
to see the movie.
