Dark Rides are becoming extinct. And that, my fiends, is a terrible shame.
It's also a terrible shame to tell you how old I was when I was no longer afraid to open my eyes on them. But that's another story.

The following are a few photos taken at the Whacky Shack at Waldameer Park in Erie, PA.
This ride has remained virtually unchanged since it was built- 1970 or so. Most people would think that's just lame, & I used to think so myself. However, I now realize what a treasure it is, to be preserved, blacklights & all.
