We are here to try and understand the great mystery out there. We want to present the paranormal (or what we feel may be paranormal)as honestly as possible. We want to do it respectfully and without all the flash Goth and glitter. We will squish as much as we can into these pages and try to think of us as some old spooky attic :o).

Vancouver Paranormal is not in competition with any other paranormal website and our combined belief is that all can bring something important to the paranormal table. We want to work and play well with others and extend our open hands to any group visiting our area. We don't have fancy awards but they are given to others that we feel excel, with heartfelt appreciation. Likewise we only link and banner exchange with groups we feel share many of our beliefs or websites that impressed us with their devotion and dedication. While we feel all paranormal websites do the best they are able, some are clearly leaders and set the examples.

I also have to add if I am to be responsible that Vancouver Paranormal along with many other paranormal groups strongly advise against the use of Ouija boards, seances and other forms of summoning (automatic writings etc) in order to research the paranormal. We believe (it's not proven one way or another) that these practices can invite unwanted energy forms to you and the occult and the sensible search through the paranormal world do not go hand in hand. We also strongly urge people to join a paranormal team if they want to explore the great beyond, do not do this alone. By responsible, I mean not a group of people banded together out for a thrill and wanting to go into areas that are private or even dangerously ill kept (abandoned structures etc). Join a team that is bonded, has first aid experience...has a good reputation in your community. Joining just any old group could easily make this a dangerous past time.

To those that may need us for an investigation: We will never charge for our services, although we will accept small donations (used to cover personal costs, gas, film and film development, long distance tolls etc). Vancouver Paranormal also pledges our reading public (and those who might depend on us at some future date) to give you our personal best. To serve you as a moral and dedicated team should. Respect laws as posted-maintain decorum when out on investigation and when in public in general and work with others using respect as our watchword.

Lastly it is our belief that we may be dealing with issues of a paranormal nature on these pages...This is what WE feel. We will use the accepted terms used by most websites and groups when dealing with the images we have presented. Orbs, ecto and vortex- what causes these images, we do not know and it is our assumption that we are dealing with the paranormal.
